Hi there. Happy weekend. I’ve had a busy week and have just been loafing all weekend. Then tomorrow, I get to do it all again. Insert a sarcastic “yay!” here. I haven’t had time to do many challenge cards in the last week (or two) but I did manage to make a card for the 3/28/17 Teapot Challenge MMTPT453 on Splitcoast. Polly was the hostess of our virtual slumber party. And, what’s a slumber party without junk food?! That’s what I’m “bringing” to this shindig.
I used the adorable Funny Food set from Simon Says Stamp. It’s one of my current favorites. Love their little faces – they make me happy. For this card, I used three of the food images which I colored with Copics cut out with the coordinating dies. I popped them up with foam tape on top of a shaker panel. I sent this card off to a fellow teapotter to “tickle” them. I hope she likes it.
By the way, these little foodies work perfectly and look great with the little action wobblers too. They’re easy to use and add a little fun to your card. It gives them a little “BOING”. Just remove the adhesive and adhere one side of the wobbler to your image then adhere the other side to your card. Easy peasy. Here’s a card I made using a wobbler with the French fries from the Funny Foods stamp set:
I colored the French fries with Copics, cut it out and adhered it to the card with a wobbler. The sentiment comes from Uplifting Thoughts stamp set, also by Simon Says Stamp. I sent this card to Jennifer Timko for graciously helping me with a couple of blog issues I was having. She is such a sweetie and I appreciate her taking time out of her busy schedule to help me.
Hope you all have a wonderful week.
